That&#039;s true about the religious concepts in St. Oniisan. The comic is deeply steeped in pun and generalizations of these concepts. If you don&#039;t get it, it&#039;s not as fun. I honestly wouldn&#039;t know the hotte or hokke (forgot!) pun if a friend didn&#039;t point it out. Generally it&#039;s a fun read even if you missed one or two puns. I hope that whoever translates this keeps the joke coming. :3</description>

My wife really got hooked on this series and showed it to me the other day.  I got the jokes as she explained the Buddhist parts.  The manga became even more enjoyable when I noticed the different sayings on each of their shirts.  
I&#039;m sure it would be pretty hard to translate into English for those who don&#039;t have a background knowledge of the two religions.  Still, it&#039;s a fun read at best!</description>
