Hello! Welcome to Nodame World, an english fansite for Tomoko Ninomiya's award-winning manga, Nodame Cantabile. As the site is still in its early stages, many sections are still under construction. However, do feel free to look around whatever that has been built in the site already.
I’ve only seen the first half and it was notoriously funny. Like the manga. There were elements I didn’t imagine they’d pull off correctly, but all in all it was a very good and interesting show to watch. I did hear from a friend that the second episode had some changes. Well it’s bound to happen. They also made a couple of changes in the drama.
Well, for those in Japan, Nodame Drama’s Sebastiano Vieira, Czech conductor Zdenek Macal will be performing a series of concerts in Japan. Here are some dates for his performances…

My fandom gets the better of me. My fascination for pinky street dolls has triggered a custom bug for me to create my own Nodame and Chiaki. :3 They were 3 weeks in the making and with more patience and some experimentation, they’re finally done! lol. I’m happy how they turned out. :3
On the non-lighter side of things. I have to make this site more manageable for me so I’ll be making some changes soon. Not so big, just some things fixed.
Silly I know but when you have a really fun game to play with funny characters and pleasing music, you can’t help but make more right?
Well, people at Bandai Namco made another Nodame game for us and this time, it’s made for the Wii! It plays similar to the DS game wherein you try to play the story of a student in the same school as Chiaki and Nodame and you get to join the orchestra as well. It’s a whole new story altogether and you get to have episodes with all the characters in the game. I personally wish you get to be Nodame and try to win Chiaki’s heart, but I doubt that will happen.
If you guys are interested, the game will be sold sometime December 27, 2007 for the price of around 6,090 Yen. God, this is quite an exciting game but… I don’t even have my Wii yet. orz. ><;;
Congratulations to the Drama team of Nodame Cantabile! They’ve been winning awards left and right, and now they won the Seoul Drama awards. Hideki Takeuchi won as best director and Daisuke Mogi won for Nodame’s music. Congratulations guys!! <3 <3
This is probably old news to the community in LJ, but Nodame will be having a 2 night special at the end of the year. Nodame Orche will have a concert for a whole week too. The drama will be set in France and will feature both Chiaki and Nodame as well as two new characters for the drama only. Does that mean we won’t see Frank and Tanya? oh well… we love anything they come up with anyway. Good job, Ninomiya-san! <3
Just in from last night, according to Sankei Sports, Nodame Drama will have a special coming January 2008. It will be set in Paris and will still feature Ueno Juri as Nodame and Tamaki Hiroshi as Chiaki. Two new unknown characters (drama only) will be introduced in the said special.
Prior to the drama special, Nodame Orche will have another set of performances from December 18 until the 28th.
Mantan Web just posts a lovely story about Nodame Orche winning Japan Gold Disc Award Grand Prize for their album Orchestra Live! Congratulations Nodame Orche for doing a brilliant job!!!
Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve updated Nodame World. Don’t worry, I’ll try to make my updates more often. Now that a harrowing semester is over, I think I can put up more things about Nodame sometime soon. I have a couple of summaries ready for upload and such. I’ll get on them sometime next week.
As some of you have noticed, I’ve changed the look of the site. Pink is such an appealing color to me lately, so here is a pinkish Nodame-site. Hope you guys find this layout a lot easier to browse. If there are any problems, feel free to contact me.
Among other things, for those who were interested to buy the Nodame DS game, you can try your luck in playing one of the minigames. In this game, Chiaki conducts “twinkle twinkle little star” for you. In return, you have to time the floating blue notes to the scrolling brown notes. Click the brown notes once the blue notes are in place. If you manage to get them in time, you’ll definitely see a pleased Chiaki. <3 <3 However, you’ll meet the Oni-chiaki if you don’t get the notes together.
Other minigames included in the DS is a puri gorota game. I wonder if Masumi will have a timpani game as well. <3
